How to sell your photos and videos
With BentBox you sell Boxes of photos and videos. Upload your photos or videos, set a price for the set (a "Box"), and you're done — every Box is available to buy from your public page.

Is BentBox free to use?
Yes. BentBox is 100% free to use. Creators keep 100% of the price they set for their Boxes, and BentBox simply adds its commission on top, which is paid by the buyer.
"Free to use" refers to the BentBox platform itself. It does not include the price of the content you buy from creators (each creator sets their own price), and it does not include fees applied by regulators. Those are covered in the next answer.
Are there any other costs, such as age-verification fees?
Two things are separate from BentBox's platform fees:
1. The price of content. When you buy a Box, you pay the price the creator has set. That money goes to the creator, not to BentBox.
2. Regulator-mandated connection costs. In some regions, the law requires steps such as age verification before content can be accessed. Where a third-party verification provider charges a fee for that check, it is treated as a connection cost — a charge required to reach the service in your jurisdiction — and is not a BentBox platform fee. BentBox does not set or receive these fees.
What can I sell?
You can sell access to view your photos and videos — like selling a digital book — or you can sell a license to use your photos. The choice is yours, and it is set per Box.
How do I get paid?
Payouts are made monthly. You can receive your earnings by bank transfer, Paxum, Yoursafe, PayPal or gift card.

How can I maximise the sales of my content?
You are the best promoter of your own content. BentBox gives you a unique public page at bentbox.co/YOUR_USERNAME — use it to promote your content anywhere. The more you promote it, the more you earn.
Our most successful creators promote their public page and individual Boxes regularly on other websites, on social media, and through online networking such as chats and communities.
Can people subscribe to my content?
Yes. Anyone can subscribe to your public page and to your individual Boxes. Subscribers are notified when you create new Boxes and when you add new content to existing Boxes.
How can I improve my visibility?
Add a tempting description to every Box. People are more likely to buy when they can read about the content, and your description is picked up by Google and other search engines — making your content easier to find and buy.

Are my content and copyright protected?
Yes. Your content is protected by global licensing agreements, and you decide how it is licensed — for example, personal use only. We use global copyright standards for the licensing agreements between the seller and buyer of content.
Do I own my content?
Yes. Your content is, and always will be, yours — no unusual terms and conditions. The copyright of your content is protected by our Copyright Policy.
Can others download my content?
You decide whether others can download your content. You can enable or disable download from the Box page. Your content is also protected from hot-linking, so other websites cannot embed your photos on their pages.
Download is enabled by default with all licensing agreements except "Personal use without download".
How much can I sell my digital content for?
You can set any price you wish for your Boxes. BentBox applies a commission on top of your price, according to our commission plan, and that commission is paid by the buyer — not deducted from you.
