Private Community Usage Policy
This policy explains how BentBox Private Communities work, how subscriptions are billed, what access you receive as a member, and how to cancel at any time.

1. What Is a Private Community?
A BentBox Private Community is a subscription-based, members-only content feed created and operated by an individual creator on the BentBox platform. Communities are entirely user-generated — BentBox provides the infrastructure and payment processing, while the creator controls all content, membership settings, and pricing.
When you subscribe to a Private Community, you gain access to a private feed of photos, videos, and updates posted exclusively for paying members. Content within a community is not visible to the general public, to non-subscribers, or to subscribers of other communities.
BentBox hosts numerous independent communities, each with its own creator, pricing, and content. Subscribing to one community does not grant access to any other community on the platform.
Platform role: BentBox acts as the platform operator and payment processor. The content, rules, and character of each community are set independently by the creator who owns it. BentBox does not produce, curate, or endorse the content posted within individual communities.
2. Subscriptions & Billing
Monthly Recurring Billing
Access to a Private Community requires a paid monthly subscription. When you subscribe to a community, you authorise BentBox to charge the subscription fee on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Your billing cycle begins on the date you first subscribe and renews on the same calendar date each month.
Pricing
Each creator sets their own monthly subscription price, subject to a minimum of $9.99 USD per month. The price displayed on a community page is the full amount you will be charged per billing period. Prices are listed in US dollars and may be converted to your local currency by your payment provider at the prevailing exchange rate.
Price changes: Creators may adjust their subscription price at any time. If the price of a community you are subscribed to changes, BentBox will notify you by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of the community after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Payment Methods
BentBox accepts major credit and debit cards and other payment methods made available at checkout. Your payment details are processed securely and are not stored directly by BentBox. By providing a payment method, you represent that you are authorised to use it.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails, BentBox will attempt to retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected, your access to the community will be suspended until the outstanding balance is settled. You will receive an email notification if a payment fails.
Taxes
Subscription fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes (including VAT or GST) unless stated otherwise. Where required by law, applicable taxes will be added to your charge and itemised on your receipt.
3. Member Access & Content
What You Get Access To
A valid, active subscription entitles you to view the exclusive content feed for that specific community during the paid billing period. This includes all photos, videos, and posts published by the creator within that community while your subscription is active.
Content Availability
Access to content is provided on a rolling basis — you can view content posted during any month in which you held an active subscription. Creators may remove or update their content at any time at their own discretion. BentBox does not guarantee that any specific post will remain available indefinitely.
No Download Rights
Unless the creator explicitly makes content available for download, your subscription grants you the right to view content within the BentBox platform only. You may not download, screenshot, redistribute, or reproduce community content without the express permission of the creator.
Privacy by design: Community content is private by default. Sharing, leaking, or redistributing members-only content outside of BentBox — including on social media or third-party sites — is a violation of this policy and may result in account termination.
Multiple Subscriptions
You may subscribe to multiple communities simultaneously. Each community subscription is billed and managed independently. Cancelling one community subscription has no effect on your other active subscriptions.
4. Cancelling Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription to any Private Community at any time, directly from the community's page. You do not need to contact support to cancel — the process is fully self-serve and takes effect immediately.
Cancel any time, no questions asked. There is no minimum subscription period, no cancellation fee, and no need to contact support. You are in full control.
How to Cancel
- Navigate to the community page you wish to cancel.
- Click the Manage Subscription or Cancel Subscription button, found on the community's header or your subscription settings within that community.
- Confirm the cancellation when prompted.
- You will receive a confirmation email. Your access will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Access After Cancellation
When you cancel, your subscription will not renew at the next billing date. You retain full access to the community feed until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Once the paid period expires, access is removed automatically.
Resubscribing
You may resubscribe to a community at any time. Resubscribing starts a new billing cycle from the date of resubscription. Previous content you viewed during a prior subscription remains subject to the same access rules — access is tied to your active subscription period.
Note on community closure: If a creator closes or deactivates their community, active subscriptions are cancelled automatically and BentBox will process a pro-rata refund for any unused days in the current billing period.
5. Refund Policy
Because Private Community subscriptions provide immediate access to digital content upon payment, all subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun and access has been granted.
Exceptions
Refunds may be issued at BentBox's sole discretion in the following circumstances:
- A duplicate charge occurred due to a technical error.
- You were charged after a cancellation was confirmed by BentBox.
- A creator closed or permanently deactivated their community mid-period (pro-rata refund for unused days).
- A significant technical failure on BentBox's part prevented access to a community for a sustained period during a paid billing cycle.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund under the above exceptions, please contact BentBox support at bentbox.co/contact within 14 days of the charge in question. Include your BentBox username, the community name, and a description of the issue.
Refund requests based solely on dissatisfaction with a creator's content, infrequent posting, or a change of mind after access has been granted will not be approved. We encourage you to review a creator's public profile and community description before subscribing.
6. Creator Obligations
Creators who operate Private Communities on BentBox agree to the following obligations as a condition of using the feature:
Content Activity
Creators are expected to post content to their community on a reasonably regular basis. A community that remains completely inactive for an extended period — or that was established with no genuine intention to post content — may be flagged by BentBox and, where appropriate, result in automatic cancellation and refunds for affected subscribers.
Accurate Descriptions
Creators must ensure that their community name, description, and any promotional material accurately represent the nature of the content subscribers can expect. Misleading descriptions designed to attract subscribers under false pretences are a violation of BentBox's Terms of Service and may result in community removal.
Content Standards
All content posted within a community must comply with BentBox's Content Policy and Terms of Service. Community operators are solely responsible for ensuring that content they post meets all applicable legal standards, including age verification requirements where applicable.
Revenue Share
Creators receive 80% of all subscription fees collected for their community. The remaining 20% is retained by BentBox to cover platform operation, payment processing, and support costs. Payouts are processed monthly via the creator's registered payment method.
7. Account Use & Community Conduct
One Account Per Person
Community subscriptions are personal and non-transferable. Sharing login credentials to allow multiple individuals to access a community on a single subscription is prohibited and may result in account suspension.
Prohibited Activities
When accessing a Private Community, you agree not to:
- Download, screenshot, record, or reproduce any content from the community feed without the creator's explicit permission.
- Share, distribute, or sell access to community content on any third-party platform.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse the community creator or other members.
- Attempt to circumvent access controls or access a community without a valid active subscription.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with or scrape content from a community.
Violations of these rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your BentBox account and may be reported to relevant authorities where applicable law has been breached.
Dispute Between Members and Creators
BentBox is not a party to disputes between subscribers and community creators regarding content quality, posting frequency, or creative decisions. Such matters are at the creator's sole discretion. BentBox may, at its discretion, mediate in exceptional cases where a creator has materially misrepresented their community.
8. Changes to This Policy
BentBox reserves the right to update this Private Community Usage Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to affected users and/or by a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Private Communities feature after an update is effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
