Content Policy
This policy defines what content may and may not be published on BentBox, and sets out our obligations as a platform and yours as a creator or user.
Contents
1. Overview & Purpose
BentBox is an adult content marketplace that allows verified creators to sell photos and videos directly to buyers. We operate in a legal but regulated industry, and our ability to operate depends on strict compliance with the rules set by our payment processors, financial institutions, and the laws of the jurisdictions in which we operate.
This Content Policy exists to protect creators, buyers, third parties depicted in content, and the platform itself. Every creator who publishes content on BentBox agrees to this policy as a binding condition of using the platform. Ignorance of this policy is not a defence against enforcement action.
This policy applies to all content published on BentBox, including but not limited to box content, Private Community posts, profile images, cover images, display names, usernames, biographies, and any other user-generated material.
This policy should be read alongside the BentBox Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Usage Policy.
2. Age Verification & Creator Eligibility
Creator Age Requirement
All creators on BentBox must be at least 18 years of age. BentBox requires identity verification before a creator account may publish content or receive payouts. Verification is processed through our identity partner, ProntoID, and requires a government-issued photo ID.
All Persons Depicted Must Be 18+
Every person who appears in any content published on BentBox — whether in photos, videos, or any other format — must be at least 18 years of age at the time the content was created. This requirement is absolute and applies regardless of how the content is described, framed, or labelled.
Zero tolerance. Any content depicting or implying that a person under the age of 18 is involved in sexual activity, or that could be interpreted as child sexual abuse material (CSAM), is strictly forbidden, will be immediately removed, and will be reported to the relevant authorities including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
Age Documentation
Creators are required to retain age verification records for all persons who appear in their content, in accordance with applicable law (including 18 U.S.C. § 2257 where applicable). BentBox may request proof of age compliance at any time. Failure to provide adequate records may result in content removal and account suspension.
Depicting Minors in Non-Sexual Content
Minors must not appear in any content published on BentBox, including non-sexual content such as profile photos or community posts. The platform is exclusively for adults.
Buyer Age Requirement
Access to adult content on BentBox is restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. By accessing the platform, users confirm they meet this requirement. BentBox implements age assurance measures at the point of account creation and purchase.
3. Permitted Content
BentBox is designed for adult creators selling original photo and video content. The following types of content are permitted, subject to all other provisions of this policy:
- Original nudity and explicit sexual content involving consenting adults who have been age-verified.
- Sensual, erotic, or adult-themed photography and video.
- Fetish and kink content between consenting adults, provided it does not fall within the prohibited categories listed in Section 4.
- Artistic nude and implied nude photography.
- Lifestyle, fitness, cosplay, and glamour content.
- Behind-the-scenes and personal content relevant to a creator's brand.
- Private Community posts including photos, short videos, and status updates.
Permitted content must always be original material you own or have the rights to distribute. Reselling or republishing third-party content without explicit rights is not permitted.
4. Absolutely Prohibited Content
The following types of content are strictly prohibited on BentBox and will result in immediate removal and, in most cases, permanent account termination. Many of these categories are also illegal and will be referred to law enforcement.
Child Safety
- Any sexual content involving minors (CSAM)
- Content that sexualises, depicts, or implies persons under 18
- Content using age-regression framing or "barely legal" language
- Any content featuring minors in any context
Non-Consent & Coercion
- Content depicting, simulating, or glorifying rape or sexual assault
- Non-consensual scenarios presented approvingly
- Content involving coercion, blackmail, or manipulation
- Depictions of drugging or incapacitation for sexual purposes
Violence & Harm
- Graphic violence, torture, or mutilation
- Snuff, necrophilia, or content depicting death
- Content that promotes or glorifies self-harm or suicide
- Strangulation, suffocation, or breath control presented as harmful
Illegal & Harmful Acts
- Zoophilia or bestiality
- Incest content of any kind
- Content depicting or promoting illegal drug use
- Content that facilitates trafficking or sexual exploitation
Privacy & Third Parties
- Non-consensual intimate imagery (revenge porn)
- Content featuring identifiable third parties without consent
- Hidden camera or voyeuristic content without consent
- Doxing or sharing private personal information
Hate & Harassment
- Content targeting individuals with harassment or threats
- Content promoting hate based on race, religion, gender, or sexuality
- Coordinated campaigns to harm another creator or user
- Impersonation of other creators or public figures
Fictional framing does not exempt content. Describing, labelling, or presenting prohibited content as fictional, fantasy, roleplay, or artistic does not make it permissible. The prohibition applies to the content itself regardless of how it is framed.
5. Titles, Descriptions & Language
Content titles, descriptions, tags, usernames, and all other metadata must comply with this policy and with the language restrictions imposed by our payment processors. Language that references prohibited content categories — even indirectly or through creative spelling — is not permitted anywhere on the platform.
Forbidden Words & Terms
BentBox maintains a list of specific words and terms that are forbidden in content titles, descriptions, and all other metadata fields. This list is driven primarily by Visa and Mastercard compliance requirements and is enforced automatically and by our moderation team. Attempts to circumvent the filter using special characters, intentional misspellings, leet-speak, or encoding are treated the same as using the forbidden term directly.
View the Full Forbidden Words List
Complete list of prohibited terms, including all variants and obfuscated spellings — required reading for all creators.
Profile & Username Language
Usernames, display names, and profile biographies are public-facing and must not contain forbidden words, slurs, threatening language, or content that implies the creator produces prohibited content categories. Profiles found to use such language will be edited or removed without notice.
Community & Box Titles
Private Community names and individual box titles appear in search results, payment records, and bank statements. These must be descriptive of actual content and must not reference prohibited content categories. Titles that imply illegal content will result in immediate removal of the content and may trigger account review.
6. Payment Processor Compliance
BentBox processes payments via major card networks including Visa and Mastercard. These networks impose content restrictions as a condition of providing payment processing services. Our ability to operate as a platform — and your ability to earn as a creator — depends entirely on our compliance with these requirements.
Why This Matters
Payment processors conduct audits and respond to complaints. A single high-profile violation can result in BentBox losing its ability to process card payments, which would affect all creators on the platform. For this reason, our enforcement of payment-processor-related rules is strict and non-negotiable.
Content That Triggers Payment Processor Risk
Beyond the absolutely prohibited content listed in Section 4, payment processors flag certain content categories as high-risk even when they are not inherently illegal. These include content involving intoxication, incapacitation, extreme power dynamics, or language associated with coercion. Creators are encouraged to review the Forbidden Words list and contact support if they are unsure whether specific content is acceptable.
Chargebacks and disputes filed in connection with content that violates this policy will not be defended by BentBox. Creators whose content generates a high chargeback rate may have their accounts reviewed and payouts held pending investigation.
Payout Holds
BentBox reserves the right to place a temporary hold on creator payouts during active content investigations. Holds will be released or converted to a permanent withholding depending on the outcome of the investigation. Creators will be notified of any hold placed on their account.
7. Intellectual Property & Third-Party Rights
Original Content Only
Creators may only publish content that they own or have explicit rights to distribute commercially. Uploading, reselling, or republishing content created by another person — including content purchased elsewhere — without the explicit written consent of the original creator is a violation of this policy and may constitute copyright infringement.
Consent of Persons Depicted
All persons who appear in content published on BentBox must have provided their informed consent to be filmed or photographed and to have that content distributed commercially. Creators are solely responsible for obtaining and retaining this consent. BentBox may request evidence of consent at any time.
Music, Trademarks & Third-Party Material
Content must not include copyrighted music, third-party trademarks, or other protected material without appropriate licences. BentBox may remove content flagged for copyright infringement in response to valid DMCA takedown requests. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.
DMCA Takedown Requests
If you believe content on BentBox infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA takedown notice to dmca@bentbox.co with full details of the claimed infringement, the infringing content URL, and your contact information.
8. Reporting Violations
BentBox relies on its community as well as its own moderation systems to identify policy violations. If you encounter content that you believe violates this policy, please report it immediately.
How to Report
- Use the Report button available on all content pages, profile pages, and community posts.
- Email our trust and safety team directly at safety@bentbox.co for serious violations, including any suspected CSAM.
- Use our contact form for general content concerns.
CSAM Reporting Obligations
BentBox is legally required to report any known or suspected CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, and to cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations. We take this obligation extremely seriously. If you have reason to believe CSAM is present on the platform, please report it immediately via the report button or by emailing safety@bentbox.co.
Reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team as a priority. You may report content anonymously. Submitting a report in good faith will not result in any negative consequences for your account.
9. Enforcement & Consequences
BentBox enforces this policy using a combination of automated detection, proactive human moderation, and user reports. The action taken for a given violation depends on its severity and whether it is a first or repeat offence.
| Severity | Examples | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Minor | Forbidden word in a title or description; missing content tag; incomplete profile information | Content edited or unpublished; creator notified with guidance. Repeat minor violations escalate to a formal warning. |
| Serious | Content implying non-consent; content featuring prohibited substances; copyright infringement; missing age documentation | Content immediately removed; formal warning issued; account placed under review. A second serious violation may result in permanent suspension. |
| Critical | CSAM or suspected CSAM; confirmed non-consensual intimate imagery; content depicting violence; fraud | Immediate permanent account termination; all content removed; report filed with NCMEC and/or law enforcement as appropriate. No appeal for CSAM-related terminations. |
Content Removal
BentBox may remove any content at any time that it determines, in its sole discretion, violates this policy or poses a risk to the platform, its users, or third parties. Removed content is not recoverable. Creators whose content is removed do not receive a refund of any applicable listing fees.
Payout Withholding
In cases of serious or critical violations, BentBox reserves the right to withhold outstanding creator payouts pending investigation. If an account is terminated for a critical violation, any pending payouts may be permanently withheld and, where appropriate, used to compensate affected parties or cover costs associated with the violation.
Attempting to circumvent enforcement — including by creating a new account after a ban, using another person's identity, or attempting to re-upload removed content — is a serious violation and will result in all associated accounts being permanently terminated.
10. Appeals Process
Creators who believe a moderation action was taken in error may submit an appeal. Appeals must be submitted within 14 days of the enforcement action and must include a clear explanation of why the creator believes the action was incorrect.
How to Appeal
- Email appeals@bentbox.co with the subject line "Content Policy Appeal — [your username]".
- Include the specific content or account action you are appealing, your reasoning, and any supporting evidence.
- Appeals are reviewed by a member of the trust and safety team who was not involved in the original decision.
Appeal Outcomes
Appeals will be reviewed within 5 business days. BentBox will notify the creator of the outcome by email. Possible outcomes include: action upheld, action modified, or action reversed with content restored. BentBox's decision on appeal is final.
Appeals are not available for account terminations resulting from CSAM or other critical child safety violations. These terminations are permanent and non-negotiable.
11. Changes to This Policy
BentBox reserves the right to update this Content Policy at any time, including in response to changes in law, payment processor requirements, or platform needs. Material updates will be communicated to creators by email and via a notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect, where reasonably practicable.
Continued use of BentBox following the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. The current version of this policy is always available at bentbox.co/content-policy.
This policy forms part of and should be read alongside the BentBox Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Community Usage Policy, and Forbidden Words & Language Guidelines. In the event of conflict, the Terms of Service shall prevail.
