How BentBox pays content creators
You keep 100% of the price you set. BentBox adds its fee on top for the buyer (35% of the final sale price, minimum $3), and pays your balance out once a month from $100.

Set your price
List each Box at any price you choose. That listed price is the amount credited to you for every sale.

The buyer pays your price plus our fee
BentBox adds its fee on top of your price: 35% of the final sale price, with a minimum of $3 for Boxes under 100MB and $5 for Boxes of 100MB or more. The buyer pays it, not you.

Your balance grows
Each sale is added to your BentBox balance. You can see your balance and every transaction in your dashboard at any time.

Request your payout
Once your balance reaches $100, email info@bentbox.co to request a payout. It is included in the next monthly payout cycle.
What a $10 Box earns you
Most creator platforms deduct their commission from your price. BentBox adds its fee on top instead, so the amount you list is the amount you earn.

On BentBox the buyer's $15.38 is your $10.00 plus a $5.38 fee (35% of the final price). Your payout method may charge its own transfer fees; see payout fees below.
How the BentBox fee is calculated
The BentBox fee is 35% of the final sale price, the price the buyer pays. It is added on top of your price, so you always receive 100% of what you set.
There is a minimum fee: $3 for Boxes under 100MB and $5 for Boxes of 100MB or more. The minimum applies whenever 35% would come to less than that.

Amounts are rounded to the nearest cent.
Payout schedule and the $100 minimum
Payouts run once a month and are calculated two days before the end of each month. To be included in a given month, your balance must have reached $100 before that calculation date.
If you are under $100 on that date, your balance simply carries over and keeps growing. You can send your payout request at any time; it is processed in the next cycle you qualify for.
To request a payout
1. Complete your PayOut information on your account settings page.
2. Email info@bentbox.co with the subject “Payout Request” and your account details.

Each provider sets its own fees. Choose your method in account settings.
Currency: USD prices, EUR payouts
Box prices, your balance and the $100 threshold are all shown in USD. Payouts are calculated in EUR, using the conversion rate the card processor applied at the time of each sale.
The reason is simple: BentBox is based in the EU and its payment processors settle every sale in EUR. Your payout is then sent in the currency of your bank account.
