serving as a self-portrait of ramzi abed's once renowned erotic performer/actor alter ego (and stage name), brock doom, the movie objectifies brock doom for his physical association with performing in adult films prior to his retirement as a model or performer/actor in said productions. as much as brock doom was well known for his acting in adult films, he was also very well known for his many performances in them as well. this film serves as an almost extraterrestrial or otherworldly examination in the form of a contemporary selfie or male pov video.
instead of being purely erotic, the film is dreanlike and even disturbing through its unabashed reflection and rumination on its subject, who also happens to be the filmmaker in this case as well, as mr. e was also an alter ego and directorial (and behind-the-camera) stage name for ramzi abed when he delved into the realm of the erotic.
