How to Upload & Sell Content
Ready to start selling? This guide breaks down the process of creating Boxes and uploading Single Videos. Watch the video above or follow the step-by-step instructions below to get your content online securely.
Understanding Content Types
Before you upload, choose the format that fits your content best:
New Box
A digital container. Use this to sell a mix of unlimited photos and videos in one package.
New Video
A single video file. Works exactly like uploading to YouTube or Vimeo, but for sale.
New Post
A social update. Use this for community engagement (like Instagram or Twitter).
Method 1: Creating a Box (Desktop)
On your personal page, look for the main menu at the top. Hover over the Cloud Upload Icon.
Click on New Box. Enter a name for your box, click Save, and select a Category (e.g., Pop Art) that applies to your content.
You will be directed to the upload area. You have three main ways to add content:
- Drag & Drop: Drag multiple photos/videos directly into the upload zone.
- Dropbox: Use the Dropbox plugin link to pull files directly from your cloud account.
- Video Uploader (Recommended for Large Files): If uploading a large Zip or long video, click the "Video Uploader" link. It is more resilient to network changes and allows pausing.
Once the upload is complete, click the Orange Button to view your new Box. You can switch between "Scrollable" and "Grid" views using the view icons.
Method 2: Uploading via Mobile
The process on mobile is very similar to desktop:
- Tap the Menu at the top of the screen.
- Select the Upload button.
- Choose New Box or Single Video.
- Follow the prompts to Name and Save your content container.
- Select files from your device library to upload.
Setting Prices & Metadata
When uploading a Single Video, the final step involves setting your sales data. Ensure you fill out:
- Price: Set the cost for users to unlock the video.
- Title: Make it catchy and descriptive.
- Description: detailed info about the clip.
- Tags: Keywords to help users find your content.
