lilli AFTER THE RAIN
Natural, soft light from the left and the right after a rain shower makes every picture fine. Even more if you have a model like LILLI …. OK a bit of 58mm 1.4 and some experience doesn’t hurt, either…Shooting time … and it's raining. Fortunately only for a short time and it’s summer, so off onto the terrace and one set is completed before the next shower arrives. Double luck that my model that day was LillI, an absolute professional from Prague. And what’s more, we’re on the same wavelength even beyond natural b/w photography. We have hit off since our first picture, and that makes it easy to work. This breathtaking set was created within a few minutes when the terrace was dried off. Of course that’s also a bit tricky … The wet tiled floor paired with covered but bright light in connection with a POL filter ensures the great contrasts here. As always, a digital photograph in RAW has to be turned into a b/w picture first, but not much had to be done, just like when it came to retouching the model … only minor corrections necessary. Sell all the 54 Pic+s on 36 layouted sides.
