BentBox is a private company, we don't have investors and we don't have anyone telling us what to do. We are free. That means that your data is 100% safe with us, we don't run ads, we don't use your cookies to collect your browsing preferences and we don't, and never will, use your data for any purpose other than letting you use BentBox as a platform.
This is possible thanks to the commissions that we make from the sales of content.
BentBox is free to use, you can make thousands of dollars with a basic account.
We see the relationship between you and us as a partnership, you put the content and we give you all the tools you need to be successful at selling your content.
It is based on mutual respect for what we (you and us) do.
For this reason, it is very important that we specify how you can and cannot use BentBox marketing tools (e.g. messaging platform, comments facility, feed pages, your personal user page, etc).
The BentBox messaging platform is free and open to anyone, you don't have to use it to promote your content, you can use it to chat with your favourite models, photographers and with any other users.
However, the BentBox messaging platform, or any other marketing and communication tools made available to you on BentBox, cannot be used to directly promote the sales of content outside of BentBox.
Example: You cannot contact other users on BentBox to invite them to buy your content on another platform or solicit payments through a personal payment system (e.g. PayPal).
It wouldn't be fair.
Just like we wouldn't share your content for free with anyone, we would expect you to respect the fact that we make money from commissions and if you used BentBox to bypass our billing system you would be doing us a financial damage.
What happens if you violate this rule? We will close your account immediately, without appeal.
We are in this together, we respect you, you respect us. It's as simple as that.
