Box pricing and BentBox commission

In order to run and maintain the infrastructure of servers underlying BentBox service, we apply a minimum commission value based on the size of the Box in MB.

Boxes that contain more than 100MB of content have a minimum commission fee of $5 USD.

Boxes that contain less than 100MB of content have a minimum commission fee of $3 USD.

This figure is based on the infrastructure cost to make the content available for an indefinite period of time.

BentBox commission is 35% of the Box final price.

See the examples below showing how the minimum commission fee is applied:

• EXAMPLE 1: Box Size greater than 100MB. If the Box price set by the seller is $1, BentBox Commission is $5 and the Total Box Price is $6
• EXAMPLE 2: Box Size greater than 100MB. If the Box price set by the seller is $10, BentBox Commission is $5.38 and the Total Box Price is $15.38
• EXAMPLE 3: Box Size smaller than 100MB. If the Box price set by seller is $1, BentBox Commission is $3 and the Total Box Price is $4
• EXAMPLE 4: Box Size smaller than 100MB. If the Box price set by seller is $5, BentBox Commission is $3 and the Total Box Price is $8

The prices in the examples are indicative. You can set any price for your Boxes.
